I chose this example because of how iconic and upfront it is. It's big and direct.
Context was me walking outside and noticing the sign above the doorway glowing.
The communication of the design is straight forward. It's directed for everyone within said building as a clear exit for those wanting to leave.
I'd say it's pretty on the nose actually. The message says "exit" and these signs are always above location exits.
